GCSE, A-Level and BTEC

Our curriculum is based upon the National Curriculum for England and leads to worldwide recognised qualifications of GCSE, BTEC and A-Level. Our General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE), Advanced Level (A-Level) and Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) examination results consistently compete with the best international standards. We are proud of our students’ accomplishments and our headline data is outlined below –

GCSEs

Congratulations to all our Year 11 students for achieving another fantastic set of examination results in their GCSEs. We are proud of the fantastic outcomes for our students.

This year, we are incredibly pleased to share that 48% of all grades were between 7-9, 66% were 6 and above, and 85% 4 and above.

On average over the last two years our Value Added data for GCSEs indicate our students performed at +1.26 VA for average grades in all subjects. This means that for the last two years running, RIS students, on average, made over one grade of progress per subject higher than their Minimum Expected Grades.

A-Level

We are proud of our 6th Form students at Raffles International School who, for the past three years have secured average A-Level results in line with or exceeding those of UK outcomes.

Raffles International School students may study BTEC qualifications in Business, IT, Sport and Travel and Tourism. Our recent Year 13 results led to 75% of students achieving BTEC qualifications at Distinction level.
