Throughout the school year, local and international trips enable students to apply their learning, experience new activities and develop their self-confidence, independence and understanding of the world around them.

From FS2 visits to a local bakery to observe materials change to Secondary art trips to Paris, local and overseas trips enhance the school curriculum and provide an opportunity for students to develop socially and emotionally.

Local field study trips focusing on Dubai and the UAE include art visits to the Louvre, Abu Dhabi, science investigations at the mangroves in Umm Al Quwain, nature study at Al Qudra desert wildlife reserve, cultural experiences at Etihad Museum Dubai and overnight outward bounds camps in the Hajar Mountains. Starting in Year 5, optional international trips are intended to encourage independence as well as provide opportunities for skiing in Italy, the application of modern languages in France and China, cultural trips to Rome, London and Paris and space camp in Brussels.

Full details of all overseas trips are shared with parents at the start of the year to help with selection and budgeting. Students are encouraged, but not required, to participate in overseas trips.
