A level and IGCSE results 2022
Raffles celebrated outstanding results this year at iGCSE and A level, the first time students have sat the exams in 3 years.
IGCSE Results
Here is the summary:-
- 14 of our students achieved the amazing challenge of achieving 8 straight A’s in their subjects (25% of the students).
- Overall 44% of all our grades were A or above
- 75% of all students outscored their targets
- Languages results were French 91% grade A Mandarn 100% grade A Italian 100% grade A
- Science results were Physics 94% A or above, Chemistry 78% A or above Biology 88% A or above
- 14 Subjects had outstanding results (75% at A*/A/B)
- All core subjects were outstanding or Very good.
Mr Rowlands said that this is a testament to the students at Raffles, they worked so hard and achieved these results on merit. Students are well placed to start their A level courses with a strong foundation from the iGCE.
A Level Results

- Overall 48% of all our grades were A or above
- Pass rate 95%
Outstanding results in Maths English Language, English Literature Physics
- Science results were Physics 80% A*/B, Chemistry 70% A*/B or above Biology 65% A*/B
- English Literature 100% grade A English Language 60% grade A
- Top scholar was Rami Hamzah who got 5 straight grade A results and is going to Brown Ivy league university in the United States of America
Mr Rowlands Said:- I’d like to Particularly mention to the 20% of students whose results are straight A/A* and have enabled students to go to top Universities across the world. This year was our first group of students taking Media studies and the results are excellent, congratulations to all of them.
We are so pleased for the students, they have experienced a global pandemic and have shown their resilience and now their academic prowess. Students are now confirming their places at the top Universities across the World,
Mr Humphries who has been the head of year for 5 years said “We are delighted for all of our students. The commitment and dedication they have shown during their school years has paid off.
